What's the difference between PixEdit and PixEdit Pro?
PixEdit Pro does a few more things that the ordinary PixEdit. The most important difference is that PixEdit Pro fully supports multiple processor cores in modern PCs. The DocServer production capacity in the Pro version may therefore be many times as high as the standard PixEdit.
The Pro version also contains OCR as opposed to the standard PixEdit where OCR is an option. You will also find several other useful functions in the Pro version, such as a more extensive user interface in DocServer.
The PixJet virtual printer is also included in the PixEdit Pro package. PixJet cooperates with PixEdit Pro and enables automatic mass conversion of office documents to, for example, PDF/A.
